A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support within a K-8 educational setting focused on students with severe behavioral challenges. This role is situated in Eugene, OR, serving a behavior intervention school through a contract lasting until June 12, 2026. The position requires on-site presence and offers a structured weekly schedule including early release on Wednesdays.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students with complex behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educational and behavioral teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed to meet educational objectives.
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to transition planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP) required.
- Experience working within a school setting, preferably in special education or behavioral intervention.
- Skills in managing challenging behaviors and supporting students with severe behavioral difficulties.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
